In 2010, we carried out the following activities in this area:
- 2 roundtables on consumer rights and violations in the production and sale of food (November – December 2010)
- Conducting a series of flash mobs “Don’t be deceived” to draw people’s attention to the problems of synthetic ingredients in food and fraud in their sale (July-November 2010)
- Launch of the English Speaking Club “What to eat?” (December 2010)
- Release of a booklet on food content (November 2010)
- Placing information materials on food issues on the organizations’ websites (September-December 2010)
- Conducting food patrols in large food supermarkets in Kyiv (since December 2010) to detect fraudulent sales of low-quality or expired food and respond to violations.
