In June, a new educational project “Active Youth as a Driver of Community Development” will be launched, implemented by the NGO “Democracy Promotion Foundation” within the framework of the grant competition “Voices of Communities in Times of War” implemented by the NGO “Modern Format” with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy.
This course aims to help young people realize their potential in civic activities, influence local government, create and develop youth councils, and change the country for the better.
The course program includes the following lectures:
13.06. – Youth and self-government: how to participate?
16:06 – Communication in social networks: effective methods.
20.06 – Influencing public authorities: the role of a citizen and a representative of a civil society organization.
22.06 – Work of a civil society organization: how to achieve efficiency?
All lectures will be held online via Zoom at 19:00.
Participants who attend 50%+ of the lectures and complete the test tasks will receive electronic certificates.
The 30 most successful participants will get a chance to take part in a one-day in-depth intensive in Lviv on June 27!
Important: Knowledge testing at the beginning of the first lecture is mandatory to obtain certificates.
