The Foundation for Support of Democratic Initiatives and the Sallux Foundation will hold an international conference “The Christian Perspective of a United Europe: Origins and Future” on May 29-31 in Lviv.
The conference program will cover the following topics:
- The idea of a united Europe based on Christian values;
- Ukrainian politics and Christian values;
- For a better Europe – Christian solutions for Eastern Europe;
- Cooperation in Eastern Europe – joint projects and more.
Experts, analysts, civic, church, and political activists from all regions of Ukraine, as well as experts, analysts, and activists from neighboring countries are invited to participate in the conference.

There will also be a presentation of the Ukrainian translation of Jeff Fontaine ‘s book Deep Roots. Forgotten Concepts of Robert Schuman” about the Christian foundations of a united Europe. The event will be held on May 28 at the MetropolitanAndrey Sheptytsky Center at 29 Stryiska St., Lviv, at 18:00 with the participation of the author of the book and well-known religious and public figures.
