The NGO “Foundation for Promotion of Democracy ” together with Hanns Seidel Stiftung Ukraine and the Center for Security and Development are launching a new stage of a large-scale study of the situation of Ukrainians abroad.
The Return project aims to develop scientifically based recommendations for Ukraine’s state policy on the return and reintegration of citizens.
“This study is unique in that we study not only statistics but also people’s real stories, their experience of adaptation, and the factors that influence their decision to return,” the project organizers note.
Special attention is paid to the development of practical tools that will facilitate this:
- successful reintegration of Ukrainians
- solving the demographic crisis
- economic recovery of the country
All Ukrainians who have traveled abroad after February 24, 2022, regardless of whether they have already returned to Ukraine, can take part in the anonymous survey.
Результати дослідження стануть основою для розробки конкретних рекомендацій органам влади, волонтерським організаціям та міжнародним фондам щодо підтримки українців за кордоном та створення умов для їх повернення.
